About Picture Converter

Which type should I choose?
JPG is best for photos and is accepted everywhere. PNG keeps sharp edges and see-through backgrounds, so it is best for logos and screenshots. WEBP makes the smallest files and is great for websites.
Is it private?
Everything happens inside your own browser. Your file is never uploaded to our server, so nobody else can see it.
What about see-through backgrounds?
JPG cannot be see-through, so any transparent parts become white. Choose PNG or WEBP to keep transparency.

How do I convert PNG to JPG?
Choose your PNG picture, press JPG, then press Save. That is all.
Can I convert HEIC iPhone photos?
Safari on iPhone and Mac can open HEIC photos, so they convert there. Most other browsers cannot read HEIC yet.
Does converting lower the quality?
PNG keeps every pixel. JPG and WEBP are saved at high quality (92%), which looks the same to the eye.
Is there a limit?
